Costa del Sol Gran Fondo is a cycle tourism event that combines the beauty of the Sierra Bermeja with the charm of the Costa del Sol, establishing itself as an unmissable event for cycling and nature enthusiasts. Starting and finishing in Estepona, this event offers a spectacular route that passes through the region’s picturesque villages, winds its way through the imposing mountains of the Sierra Bermeja and descends towards the beaches lapped by the Mediterranean.
Start and Finish
The COSTA DEL SOL GRAN FONDO race will start at 8.00 am from the Estepona Exhibition, Sports and Leisure Centre.
The finish line is in the same place. It is a circular route.

* The Safety Zone Cut-off Time marks the time at which the safety zone ends at that point on the route, and this time will increase at the various refreshment stations from 25 to 60 minutes.

WITHDRAWN
The withdrawal schedule for the Costa del Sol Gran Fondo will be as follows:
Any cyclists who withdraw or fail to pass the cut-off time at each checkpoint within the specified time limit may make use of the support and withdrawal vehicles that will be operating at the end of the race. These vehicles will transport those who have withdrawn to the next refreshment station, with Estepona (Start) serving as the designated stopping point.
Mandatory material
- Use of homologated cycling helmets
- Cell phone with charged battery.
Recommended material
- Waterproof containers and/or bags for liquids: With a minimum total capacity of 1 litre.
- Specific sunglasses and gloves.
- Sunscreen with total protection
- Electrolytes and/or mineral salts
- Food reserve: bars, gels, fruits...
- Mechanical spare parts for punctures.
- Carry cash and/or a credit card for any eventualities that may arise.
- Use of GPS devices to follow the route.

All runners taking part in the Costa del Sol Gran Fondo may hand in their cloakroom bag – which will be provided by the organisers when they collect their race number – containing any items they wish to collect at the finish line.
The cloakroom will be located next to the entrance to the departure hall.
The items must be placed in the bag provided by the organisers, clearly labelled with your race number.
