Costa del Sol Gran Fondo is a cycling event that connects the beauty of the Sierra Bermeja with the charm of the Costa del Sol, consolidating itself as an unmissable event for cycling and nature lovers. This event, starting and finishing in Estepona, offers a spectacular route that passes through the picturesque villages of the region, winds through the imposing mountains of the Sierra Bermeja and descends towards the beaches bathed by the Mediterranean.
Start and Finish
The start of the COSTA DEL SOL GRAN FONDO will take place at 8:00h from the Fair, Sports and Leisure Centre of Estepona.
The finish line is located in the same place. It is a circular route.

WITHDRAWALS
The schedule of withdrawals for the Costa del Sol Gran Fondo will be as follows:
All cyclists who retire or do not pass the closure of each checkpoint in the established time will be able to make use of the broom and retired vehicles that will be at the closing of the race. These vehicles will transport the withdrawn riders to the next refreshment point, with Estepona (start) being the reference point for the stop.
Mandatory Material
- Use of homologated cycling helmets
- Cell phone with charged battery.
Recommended Material
- Watertight drums and/or bags for liquids: With a minimum total capacity of 1L.
- Specific sunglasses and gloves.
- Total protection sunscreen
- Electrolytes and/or mineral salts
- Food reserve: bars, gels, fruits...
- Mechanical spare parts for punctures.
- Carry cash and/or a credit card for any eventualities that may arise.
- Use of GPS devices to follow the route.
Wardrobe
All Costa del Sol Gran Fondo runners will be able to hand in their cloakroom bag, which will be given to them by the organisation when they collect their bib number, with the material they wish to collect at the finish line.
The cloakroom will be located next to the entrance of the start box.
The material must be in the bag provided by the organisation, duly identified with the race bib number.
